Requesting a Refund
Oufreedomfunding will process automatic refunds for donations providing that the donation has not yet been passed onto the charity or beneficiary. Oufreedomfunding will refund the amount in case the beneficiary found falls or fraud. Donations are sent electronically from the Oufreedomfunding to the nominated cause in 10 working days. If the donation has already been forwarded to the chosen charity or beneficiary, please contact them directly.
You make contributions on the website are made towards Projects or people with the social impact as the primary cause. You understand that this contribution is not for purchase of any goods or services. Therefore, the contributions once cleared by the payment gateway will go towards the project you intended to give to, and therefore cannot be refunded or cancelled.
In case the project is cancelled before the money is given by the Company/ Individual to the project/ campaign owner, the contributions will be refunded to designated bank accounts. The company will seek information, through e-mail, on your bank account for electronic transfer. The Company will refund the amount in 15 working days from the date of receipt of complete information. The Company will not be responsible for any wrong information. However, such refund will be subject to applicable payment gateway fees and taxes.
Disbursement of donated funds
If we are unable to disburse donations to you as the beneficiary cause, such as due to incorrect or insufficiently supplied details, we will try to contact you to obtain the required information. If we are unable to find you or you do not respond to our inquiries within a reasonable period of time, we will either refund the donations to your donors (if possible) or, at our absolute discretion, either donate the funds to another charity or retain the funds. In such cases we may ask the identity of the donors to verify some queries particularly in internationals transactions. If you contact us after the funds have been re-donated, we are unable to disburse the funds to you. Keeping your personal contact details up-to-date is the best way to ensure donations are directed to where you want them to go.
Banking Data Details and Unauthorised Use of Credit Cards
Any donations made through the Oufreedomfunding website using a credit card/ banking data are final. If you become aware that your credit card/ banking data has been lost, stolen or is being used fraudulently, it is your responsibility to report the issue to your financial institution.
We do not store your credit card/ banking data details. The credit card compliant solution provides enhanced security against online fraud. However, we provide no warranty as to its safety or security. will refund the amount in case the beneficiary found falls or fraud.
